Caving
Locations
Recent trips have been to the local caves at Timor, near Murrundi,
and to Wee Jasper / Bungonia near Canberra. See the SUSS website
for a complete run-down on the major caving areas.
Time of Activity
Any time of year, caves stay the same temperature all the time.
Equipment
Preferred personal gear is a pair of overalls and sturdy shoes.
The club can provide helmets and petzl headtorches, as well as the
vertical caving paraphernalia for the more advanced trips. |
